Apple Blueberry Cranberry Chutney

This easy to make chutney goes great as a delicious topping for brie or as a great accompaniment to pork chops or chicken breasts.

  • 1 Tbs. Butter
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2 - 1/4 inch cubes
  • 1/2 Cup whole fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/3 Cup pecans, chopped (set aside 2 tsp for garnish)
  • 2 Tbs. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. Vanilla extract


Melt 1 Tbs. butter in a heavy bottom saucepan over medium heat.

Add apple and cranberries and sugar and cook down for about 5 minutes or until cranberries start to pop.

Reduce heat and add blueberries, pecans, and rest of ingredients.

Simmer on low for another 10 minutes.
